Personal Banker — Waypoint Bank, Colorado Springs
Waypoint Bank Colorado Springs is seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented Full-Time Personal Banker to join our team.
As a Personal Banker, you will work directly with our customers to provide high-quality, personalized service. You will handle a variety of daily deposit and transaction duties while supporting our digital banking products. Your daily contributions will help uphold Waypoint Bank’s commitment to community banking and lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management and Customer Service
Open and close a variety of consumer and business deposit accounts. Answer customer inquiries regarding checking accounts, savings accounts, and other bank products. Provide quality and personalized service during every interaction.
Transaction Processing
Accept cash and checks for deposit while carefully checking the accuracy of every transaction. Record all transactions promptly, accurately, and in strict compliance with established bank procedures.
Cash Management and Settlement
Maintain accurate balances for your cash drawer and the vault. Prepare change orders efficiently and complete ATM settlement duties as required.
Digital Banking Support
Assist customers with processing wire transfers and navigating electronic and mobile banking products.
Administrative Support
Manage daily administrative tasks including typing, filing, answering phones, distributing mail, and document imaging. Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in banking and processing teller transactions (Required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Preferred)
Previous experience in cash handling, account opening or customer service (Required)
Professional, confidential, and comfortable working with employees and customers at all levels
Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through in a team or independently
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
