Next week, as each of us at Waypoint Bank recognizes, honors, and thanks our veterans for everything they have done for our country, Waypoint Bank – Colorado Springs personal banker Taylor Hester has an additional reason to be grateful: she will be reunited with her husband.
Josh Hester, a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and his 1-68 Armor Regiment, will return to Fort Carson this month after being deployed to Poland for the past eight months. Taylor said Josh has been in the service for almost four years, and “joining the Army and spending his days around tanks was his dream job.”
Taylor and Josh celebrated their first wedding anniversary in August – over 5,000 miles apart. They have two fur babies, a labradoodle and a corgi.
“As challenging as his job can sometimes be, it has been wonderful to watch Josh follow his dreams and see all of the cool things he has accomplished so far,” Taylor shared. “Getting to move to Colorado was one major perk of Josh’s job, and I’m so happy to have found a home at Waypoint Bank.”
Welcome home, Josh. And thank you for your service.
