Loan Clerk — Waypoint Bank, Cozad
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting financial operations? Waypoint Bank Cozad is seeking a dedicated Loan Clerk to join our team.
As a Loan Clerk, you’ll work closely with our lending team to support the loan process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your contributions will help uphold Waypoint Bank’s commitment to community banking and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Documentation and Processing
Prepare, review, and process loan documents with precision, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
Administrative Support for Lending Team
Assist loan officers by managing files, gathering required documentation, and maintaining accurate records for all loan transactions.
Client Communication and Assistance
Serve as a point of contact for clients, answering questions, collecting information, and providing updates on loan applications.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure all loan files meet regulatory requirements and assist with audits, reporting, and other compliance-related tasks.
Data Entry and Record Maintenance
Accurately input loan data into the bank’s systems and maintain organized, up-to-date records for easy access and review.
Qualifications
Previous experience in banking, loan processing, or administrative roles (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software (preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to foster client trust and build long-term relationships
