Gratitude comes in a variety of forms, and this time of year it’s only right that we take a moment to reflect on all the good that’s come our way. So, what are we thankful for at Waypoint Bank?
Every day, our customers make us thankful for the truly personal relationships we’ve built with you, and how you make us smile.
We’re gratified to be part of so many wonderful communities, and that we get to work with the families, businesses, and nonprofits that help them thrive.
Here are just a few examples of the people and partnerships that we’re grateful for this fall:
Cozad: We kicked off the 2025-2026 Haymaker Branch Tellers Program at Cozad Elementary. We love helping young people establish wise saving habits and are impressed by their enthusiasm. We were humbled. The Lexington Clipper-Herald recognized us in four categories for its Best Of 2025 awards, including Best Bank, Best Mortgage Broker Company, Sheri Hladky as Best Loan Officer, and Assistant Vice President Mandy Swanson as Favorite Local Volunteer.

Cambridge: At the 2025 Furnas County Fair, our branch was proud to award showmanship scholarships to Trenton Rosko as the swine category winner, Kolbryn Clason as the sheep category winner, Laney Becker as the beef category winner, and Brooke Wendland as the goat category winner. We’re proud to recognize and support the hard work and dedication of our local youth in agriculture.
Clay Center: Our branch is hosting a Grateful Gathering Open House on November 20th. Customers can enjoy an evening filled with good company, delicious refreshments, plus we get a chance to let you know how grateful we are to be your trusted bankers.
Eustis: Bank staff got in on the community’s Ghoulish Gathering, which was part of a festive Chamber event. The team joined in on the fall fun with a “Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin” contest. Huntyr Stutterheim and her dad brought in a pumpkin that weighed an incredible 306 pounds! Jax Keller guessed the closest and took home the win.

Imperial: During the month of October, we gave away two Fall Baskets as a way to say thank you to the Waypoint Bank – Imperial community. The winners were Barb Hogsett and Terri Meyer. We were also proud to support the future of agriculture and leadership by sponsoring this year’s 4-H trophies and awards at the Chase County Fair.
Sutton: We completed the purchase of Astra Bank and launched Waypoint Bank – Sutton. We had a great time at our open house, introducing the community to our team and celebrating our new location.

Fort Collins: We once again hosted Oktoberfest, filled with good company, delicious food, and plenty of authentic beverages to go around. Greg Metzo and David Besch really got into the spirit by donning traditional lederhosen. We trust our clients enjoyed themselves as much as we did.
Colorado Springs: One of our highlights this fall was to host our Customer Appreciation Open House. It truly warms our hearts to reconnect and spend time with clients. We are immensely grateful for these relationships.

We are honored that you’ve trusted us and chosen Waypoint Bank to guide your success.
