Waypoint Bank – Fort Collins is proud to welcome Brent Barstad as Vice President of Treasury Management. Brent joined the team in early 2026, bringing more than 25 years of banking experience and a passion for helping businesses and organizations succeed.

In his role, Brent works with commercial, nonprofit, and public sector clients to provide cash management solutions that help operations run more smoothly and securely. From fraud prevention tools and merchant services to ACH and wire solutions, he looks forward to building strong relationships and serving as a trusted resource for customers throughout the community.

Brent has called the Front Range home for more than 25 years and is excited to continue supporting businesses and organizations in a new way through Waypoint Bank.

When he’s not at the bank, you can usually find Brent enjoying the Colorado outdoors with family and friends. He enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, walleye fishing, and checking out the local Fort Collins and Denver music scenes. He’s also passionate about giving back and has served on the ambassador team for Realities For Children for more than 15 years.

Brent is the proud father of two daughters. Siena is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and works with children with special needs at Respite Care Inc. in Fort Collins. Katelyn recently returned from studying abroad in Bulgaria and is graduating this spring from UNC with degrees in psychology and criminal justice, with an interest in forensic psychology.
