Meet Raquel (Rachel) Crick
Rachel Crick is a Drive Thru Teller at our Cozad, Nebraska location and has been part of the Waypoint Bank team for the past 14 months. Rachel’s role focuses on helping customers through the drive thru and walk-up windows while making sure daily operations run smoothly. She starts each day early by preparing the drive thru drawers and completing reports before the rest of the bookkeeping team arrives.
One moment early in her banking career confirmed she was in the right place. While reviewing a high-dollar endorsement, Rachel noticed something unusual about a customer’s check. She brought it to the attention of bank officers, and both leadership and the customer appreciated her attention to detail and care.
“I enjoy seeing and helping customers,” Rachel says. “Every day they make me smile, and I do my best to make sure each transaction is accurate and they leave with a ‘have a good day’ or ‘take care.’”
Rachel says one of her favorite parts of working at Waypoint Bank is the people she works alongside every day. She appreciates the knowledge and support her coworkers provide and describes working at Waypoint Bank in one word: Fulfilling.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys reading, watching reality shows, and spending time with her granddaughter. She also values giving back to the community and highlighted the local TeamMates mentoring program as a cause she deeply supports.
When asked what she loves most about Cozad, Rachel shared that it is the care and support people have for one another. She also wants customers to know that Waypoint Bank offers many services and encourages people to never hesitate to ask questions.
