Ag/Commercial Loan Officer - Imperial

- Conducting collateral inspections.

Loan Processor - Colorado Springs

Job Description
The Loan Processor will perform duties to assist the bank in processing loan requests that will help to achieve the objective of the bank with sound, profitable loan growth. This person will spend the majority of his time assisting Lenders with loan requests to the bank; processing loan files, creating and reviewing loan documents, ordering title policies, appraisals and other supportive documents. This person will handle customer service and communicate directly with borrowers.
Duties
- Prepare and process loan documents and files
- Scan documents for electronic file
- Review of documentation for accuracy and consistency with loan policy and procedures
- Monitor loan relationships, including collection of financial statements, borrowing base monitoring, covenant compliance testing and annual reviews
- Understand and perform processing and review of title work, appraisals, environmental reports, flood searches and other related due diligence in commercial and consumer lending
- Process loan payments
- Book and fund loans on the core system
- File liens, to include deeds of trust, UCCs and titles
- Process paid loans
- Complete quarterly compliance training as required by the bank
- Participate in customer calls when necessary as a part of the underwriting and due diligence process
- Other duties as assigned
Key Competencies
- Understanding of appraisals, title work, insurance, financials and tax returns
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in basic math, Excel, Word, Office and other financial banking programs – LaserPro experience is a plus
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Exhibit strong analytical, clerical, organizational and credit skills
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high stress and fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines. Switch quickly to and from different tasks.
- Be dependable and timely to work
- Work independently to complete tasks and be a positive team player
Education
A high school diploma is required to obtain the position as a Loan Processor. Three years bank experience, with consumer, mortgage or commercial loan processing/servicing experience is preferred. On the job training will occur and the applicant will be expected to be a quick learner.
Salary Information
Starting salary is $22/hr.
